Claudio De Conto

Claudio de Conto graduated in Business Economics from Luigi Bocconi University.

After an initial period in England at Ernst&Whinney, he joined the Pirelli group where he held various positions until becoming the group’s operational general manager.
He was subsequently CEO of the Artsana group; since the beginning of 2022 he has been CEO of the Gnutti Carlo industrial group.

For several years he has gained experience as an independent director in various leading Italian companies including Assicurazioni Generali, RCS, Telecom Italia, Banca Popolare di Milano and President of the Board of Directors of Prysmian. He currently holds the position of director of Edizione Holding and President of Star Capital Sgr.

In the past he also held roles in the IFRIC (International Financial Reporting Committee) and the EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group) for two mandates.
