Board of Statutory Auditors: Statutory Auditor
Giovanni Luca, chartered certified accountant and graduate of the University of Bologna with a degree in business and economics, is currently a Chairman and member of the Board of Statutory Auditors for several companies, for which he likewise serves as an auditor, and a former officer of the Guardia di Finanza (financial law enforcement agency under the Ministry of Economy and Finance).
Over the course of his career, he has also been served as an expert witness for the court and for the plaintiff during several different trials in the Emilia Romagna region.
He co-authored, along with General Umberto Fava, the work Le Società Finanziarie – Aspetti civilistici, finanziari, contabili, fiscali e antiriciclaggio (Company Finance – Civil, financial, accounting, fiscal, and anti-money laundering issues).
He’s also collaborated with the journal Il Fisco (Tax Revenues) and spoken at several conferences on tax issues, anti-money laundering legislation, and the protection of privacy. Moreover, he’s the Founder and Director of Accademia dei Dottori Commercialisti di Bologna (Bologna Academy of Chartered Accounts).
