Regional & BU Directors: Regional Director Access Solutions / MEA
Richard Rohman is one of the co-founders of Centurion Systems, an automation access company in South Africa that became part of FAAC Technologies in 2016.
After graduating from University of Witwatersrand with a mechanical engineering degree, Richard founded Centurion in Johannesburg with his brother-in-law, former CEO Pat Dickens, and his sister, Ann. The company, first established in 1986, grew with a rapidly shifting socio-political climate, creating new demand in the growing technology sector related to automation and access control.
After an initial start-up phase, Richard became the Centurion Sales & Marketing Director in the 1990s. In 2019, with the retirement of Pat Dickens, he became General Manager of Centurion System. From 2021, he also assumed the role of Regional Director MEA, in charge of the Middle East and Africa market.
Over the years, beyond his training as an engineer, Richard has completed several executive courses in General Management.
