Confirmation receipts are sent out automatically. If you have not received a confirmation, please check your spam folder. and whether there were some notifications on the website (e.g., you forgot accepting our privacy notice or did not attach your CV). If you still have questions, you may contact us by phone at 051 61724 to reach our Italian Headquarters.
Only your resume. A cover letter is not mandatory; however, we will evaluate it carefully should you prepare it ?
Yes! If you are successful with more that one opportunity, we will discuss together how to move forward. We encourage candidates to keep applying for positions if not selected the first time.. The next time could be the charm! ?
Screening
Once you submitted your application successfully, you will receive a confirming email.
Your application will be evaluated by a member of our HR Team. Although we use an Application Tracking System, we do not use automatic filters for screening resumes.

You should at least have received a confirmation email. If not received, check your spam. If you have not received a direct contact from our recruiters, it means that this time your application was not successful and other candidates were considered more in line with our requirements. Should there be other opportunities in the future that interest you, do not hesitate to re-apply!
We appreciate your enthusiasm and interest in FAAC Technologies! We are certain that you will understand we are not always able to respond to all messages individually as our positions are managed by multiple colleagues in the HR Team. If your application has been sent correctly, we will review and evaluate it. Additional messages are unnecessary and may not be received by the right person.
Phone Interview
The first step in the interview process typically is a short phone interview with a member of our HR Team. In this step we will ask you to give us a short overview of your academic/professional journey. We will then provide you with information about us and the position you applied for.

In most cases, we will set up a call with you via email or text message and try not to call you out of the blue while you might be busy. We will ask if it is a good time to talk, so be certain you are in a quiet place, where you can talk openly about your current situation, your motivation for change and other topics that you would rather not discuss in front of others. In addition, remember the role you applied for so that you will be able to describe why you expressed interest. We will also provide you with information about us and the recruiting process.
Please let us know as soon as possible if other commitments come up and you would like to postpone the
phone interview.. If you are no longer interested in proceeding with our recruitment process, please let us know.
Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive feedback on the outcome of your application, even if we have selected another candidate. We appreciate the time and your interest in FAAC Technologies and we want to ensure that we make the process an enjoyable and transparent experience.
If many days have passed since the timeframe, we gave you and you have not yet received feedback, we ask you to contact us to verify the reason with us: perhaps the selection is still open, but there have been delays in the process – sometimes good things take some time…. But it could also be the case, instead, that we made a mistake (we are human, after all…). In this case, we will apologize to you and admit that we made a mistake. We like transparency, even when we make mistakes.
1° and 2° Interview on site
After a successful initial phone interview, you can expect to participate in 2 additional interviews. For some positions, this could vary and/or there could be a technical test, between interviews or during one of the interviews. We will advise you before if a test is required.
In the presence of external constraints (e.g., COVID-19 emergency) the selection process could be partially remote.

Usually, you will (e-)meet the hiring manager for the position and a colleague from our HR Team.
Our interviews are based, in addition to understanding your academic and professional path, on behavioral questions focused on situations or challenges you have faced in the past and how you have handled them, using skills we have identified as key to our position.
For example, to help us understand your experience in decision making, we will ask this or a similar question:
«Tell me about a time when you had to make a decision without all the information you needed. How did you handle it?”
The hiring manager will give you insights of the team structure, the main responsibilities and objectives of the position and most likely ask some technical questions.
Obviously we will take the time to answer all your questions as well!
During interview phase, we usually do not discuss salary information. This information is considered once
the shortlisted candidates have been determined.
Yes – we consider different candidates as well ? What we do expect is a fair amount of transparency. If you expect or already have another offer on the table, let us know. If you are still interested in our opportunity, we will discuss what options are available. Otherwise, we will be able to consider the other applications that have entered the final selection phase.

Salary Proposal & Hiring
During this step of our recruitment phase, a colleague of our HR Team will contact you to present an offer, explaining the compensation package and additional (local) benefits we currently offer to our employees.
F.A.Q.
In some countries, we might ask for your current salary information and/or a certification of the current remuneration package during the recruitment process or during preliminary document submission phase. This applies only, if in accordance with the local regulations and practices.
In some countries (e.g., in Italy), an offer letter is a formal commitment to hire. If you’ve made it this far… well done! The offer letter contains all the information you need to evaluate our proposal: compensation, any variable components, company benefits, duties, workplace, company equipment, etc. And no, it’s not “forever “… The offer letter will have a deadline beyond which it will no longer be valid.
In other countries, after positive feedback, you might receive directly the contract ready for signature.
Please get directly in touch with the colleague you were mainly in contact with throughout the recruitment process. All your questions should be clarified (at least we will try!): You are about to make an important decision for your future, and it is important that you feel comfortable in making it.
